^I've inquired about this before from Aloha Rag, and they have said that Bal is using a different type of glue and that the tassels will hold better than the ones from previous years. Who knows if that is true or not..but it seems like a very good excuse.

i had no idea that the metal tags were silver, so i just checked mine. that is really cool. i didnt realize they were a precious metal

I can't help but wonder if the new non-silver metal tag will tarnish (or even worse...) get surface rust???

ITA with hmwe, I am just about done with my collection. There will not be any new Bbag purchases for me if the leather keeps coming out like sand paper!

i couldn't agree more. It's ridiculous, it looks like they're trying to cut corners and save a few cents here and there, for a $1000+ bag! Sorry but even though I've never used my mirror's back pocket nor had to change tassels for my bags, I still want them!!!

I heard the PT no longer have the feet at the bottom, a few girls have reported this with their GH PT. Not sure if true with PT RH too.

these little things they take away from b bags make me want to pass this season and stop buying new bags.
that being said, i must confess that i want an argent city so bad, but i'm still wondering if i should get one.
i'm very disappointed and mad about the little details they took away... why did they do that? just want to sell extra tassles at 5 euros a pair instead of giving us some extras !!!!

I haven't seen any 08 F/W bags IRL yet, but I sure don't like they changed the handles. Bal has repeated some 05 colors this season but with much lower quality. I think I am going to past this season but go looking for older bags now.

I was looking into beginning a Bal collection but am not sure - I know I won't like the feel of rough leather - is it worth it? there are bags I like in LV and BV that would suffice.

that is a real letdown to lose touches like feet, mirror change, no ex-tassles... & the handles.. I've been worried that they would lighten up the handles ever since the double strings on the GH (I do like those!) but do the GH feel different?? I have not seen any of the fall collection yet so I'm really bummed if they let down on the leather quality....

^^ WTF, the new silver tags aren't silver anymore (?)...and what's this business about the inner pockets not having gussets (?)...i don't know what that means, but none of this sounds good...so, let's see, no extra tassels, no pocket on the back of the mirror, thinner laced handles, no feet on the PT's, non-metal balenciaga plate & no gussets?!?!
