Can anyone tell me for sure if there is supposed to be a difference in the depth of the interior pocket in the work bag on different years? I think the older bags (at least 06) had a more shallow inside zip pocket than, say, the 09s, but a SA is telling me the 09s are more shallow. I'm really confused b/c my 09 Granny Work has a deep interior pocket. I'm talking about the one inside the bag, not the outside zip pocket. Does anyone know? Thanks.

I have only owned an 06 Work before and it was shallow. It did seem odd to have a big bag and a little inside pocket. I would have liked a bigger interior pocket like they did for the newer city's, 08's and 09's.

Thanks, umimaddicted. That's what I thought too, and that small pocket bothered me. I don't know why this SA is telling me the 06 has a bigger pocket than they have now - it's so hard to get straight info sometimes - thank goodness for tPF.

I know you're asking about Works, but I have an 04 City and the pocket is really shallow compared to my 06 Ink. If i leave it open everything falls out.

I'm so glad I found this thread coz I started to wonder about my bags too. I just don't know which year they're from.

I'm checking out a couple of bags at the moment and there don't have their paper tags and the sellers are not sure which year they are from. The only indication, potentially, is that there are pockets on the back of the mirrors. Is this a definite indication that the bags are pre-08? So starting from 08 onwards, no pocket on mirrors?

There were pockets on spring 08 bags. I recall one of my 2008 1 bags having a pocket.

dear saff, 2008 1 bags still have the mirror pocket, it's from 2008 3 on that they took away the mirror pocket. on smaller bags such as the shoulder or oval, there isn't any pocket on the mirror.

Hi,

I think the 2008's have a deeper inner pocket than the 2007's.

Really? Are you sure it's a 2009 bag? I have not heard of any bags having a mirror pocket from f/w 08 onwards.
