Default The Pony/The Club
Hi all! I was wondering if any one has bought the new club (or some call it pony) style this season. It is the one that resembles a day but is shorter and has a another pocket on the back of the back. I went to BalLA yesterday and saw it and am really debating it. The thing that is holding me back the the bottom of the bag which looks a bit structured. I kind of want the bag to sag, you know the puddle. But anyways, I've conducted a search and nothing came up. Anyone buy one or seen one irl?

Today I bought the "Club" in black at my NM here in Atlanta. I flipped when I saw it as I haven't been on here much recently and knew nothing about it. I agree that it is a little dry and a little stiff, but will break in beautifully I'm sure!! I love the shoulder strap on the Day but always had to dig for my things. The Club has a nice rectangular bottom and a nice depth, plus the extra zippered compartment on the back of the bag!! To me, it is the perfect Bal bag and now I want more colors in it.

Will try to take modeling pictures and post them soon.

I got one too today at South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa, CA. It retails for $1145. I was originally planning to get a Day but I wasn't so fond of the uneven bottom. I wanted the City, too, but I wanted more of a shoulder bag. Then the SA showed me this new style called Club and it was perfect for me. It's actually the perfect size, too! It's like a Day but not that deep and plus it has a sturdy bottom with kind of the height of a City and it's a shoulder bag! I got one in charcoal gray and it's perfect for my first BBag!

Here is my Black Club purchased this weekend at Bergdorf's in NY. The leather seems to be thicker than some of my other bags, but not dry at all. Because it is thicker, it is also a bit stiff, but is already starting to soften up. And I'm liking the style very much.

I agree. I'm really interested in seeing one after a couple months of use. I hope it gets slouchy because then I would definately consider buying one.

The Club owners, I'm wondering how your bags are now?
I'm a Day girl. I like a shoulder bag style, so I am interested in the Club. When it was out, I checked it in person at Bal NY. It is definately more structured and heavier than the Day. Somehow, the top zipper part is bothering me. It doesn't look good for me. But it might look different after it is used.

I would really appreciate if you post pictures of your bags. TIA.

I haven't used mine all that much, but I did use it for a whole weekend. It is softening up a bit. The leather is definitely thicker than my days and therefore the bag is a bit heavier. But still lighter than GH bags.

Thank you so much, TMitch6542! The leather looks great.

Is the top part getting softer? I mean around the top zipper part settles flat like it is supposed to be? When it is full, the top part seems to be flat easily. But when it is not full, the top part looks like an extention of the front part. That is what doesn't apple to me. I guess if the top part is softer, it might be flat easily.

I'm not good at explaining it. I'm not sure this makes sense to you.
