That is really odd. They said they had none in stock in any color!

If you are not on their waitlist for the particular bag and they can't sell it to you because it is already allocated to another customer they may choose not to show it to you.

I guess the SA that shushopn talked to, didn't have the correct information. I just stopped by New York store to check the club, they just showed them to me.

It looks something strange, when the bag doesn't hold anything. When the top zipper part and the rest of the bag is straight, not like LizCordova's pic, it seems too busy in a small place. Sorry I can't describe it, well.

Oh, the back of the bag, there is an another zipper pocket with a tassel.

I like the size of the club. But I'm not sure about the style.

I like it, too. If I feel over-tasselled, I'll just get one in giant covered hardware. BAL keeps trying for a hobo/shoulder bag that isn't as deep and long as the Day, and this looks good to me for that. I like the leather treatment of the strap and that it isn't as flat as the hobo was (though I'm a fan of that bag, too). Please post your chataigne when you get it!!

I love the club bag too! I would love to see it in more colors for Spring.
So far I am loving the Bal Neutrals this fall season.

Here is the details I was able to get from my SA at BalNY:

The handbag that you are referring to is called the Club and priced at
$1145 and it
comes with the classic hw only. Its coming in
black,anthracite,noix,galet,pommier,tempete,
pourpre,raisin.

I wonder if they ordered the GCH or not??

I like this style alot too and could easily see myself having another come Spring 2010. I hope it sells well so that it comes back for Spring 2010.
I will post pictures of my chataigne when I get it and later down the line
pictures of it broken in.

I think this bag is gorgeous, and is really a good answer to those who like the DAY but don't like how it might be considered too long. Thanks LizCordova, for posting extra pictures!
