Do you mind me asking how is the leather on your yellow city?

Hi Aki, I am getting the Yellow off Erica from hgbags. She knows how fussy I am and simply doesn't sell me anything other than what she knows I'll like (I love her to bits for that!!!) Ok, so she said this Yellow leather was non veiny, smooth, thick and soft. Getting excited now!

Although I've resisted for quite awhile, I've finally relented to the collector's dream that are the Balenciaga ranges, and already have a few lined up in my hitlist..

More Day or Flat Hobo B-bags
Something in Vert Gazon
Coin and Makeup purses

I'm still verrry new to Balenciaga so don't have colours/years worked out yet.
WOW! Frankie! I am so impressed. I was wondering how many Aussie Bbag Outback girls there would be. I have spent time rocking my Bbags in Alpha & Emerald (glad my Bbags weren't in Emerald about 1 month ago ay?) They would have been washed away! I am now in Sunny Queensland loving the beach life. My dad still lives in Dairy Country, so I rock my bags up to see him, LOL! It's funny because my dad collects antique fire arms (like the guns on Pirates of the Caribbean) and I collect Bbags. He has no idea about the cost of my Bbags (I think he also tells white lies about the cost of his finds)...So each time we catch up, we display our new wares!!! It's easy to rock a Bbag in the outback towns because they are so classic and not too bling (the RH bags that is...) I have recently decided to pass on the GH bags. I have tried to love them, but I just can't pull them off with my current lifestyle

Hi everyone!

Just marking my spot in this thread - I'm overseas at the moment and will be back in Melbourne at the end of the week, and will have pics to post then.

I've added a few bags to my collection whilst I've been away, most of which I haven't seen yet!

Here's my updated list as of today:

05 Magenta Purse
05 Pewter Day
06 Ink Work
06 Grey WE
06 BI Day
07 Mogano City
07 Black SGH City
07 LE Magenta City
07 Violet SGH Day
07 Black Silver Giant Traveler
08 BG City
08 Sahara Silver Giant Hobo
08 Pale Magenta SGH Day
08 Pale Magenta Flat Clutch
08 EB SGH Envelope Clutch

+ coin purses in an assortment of RH and GH.

I need to add a red to my collection!!

Nice to see so many melbournians - maybe we can have a melbourne bbag meetup. I met the singapore bbag gals this trip, they're all so nice and we had so much fun chatting abt bbags.

xoxo

Jade.

KDC - Alpha and Emerald?!!! Hahaha that's not too far from where I am, Charleville, though we were darn near washed away with the floods recently too! There are pics of my poor house in a thread on here somewhere I made on it whilst in exile staying at a mate's place - we had a metre of water running through the underneath of our highset Qldr. Luckily the built in areas underneath are mainly storage, but we'd moved MrFrank's motorbike and my precious treadmill to higher ground earlier.

Lovely to meet you! Where in Qld are you now? I lived on the Gold Coast for 7 years before moving west with work (Paramedic). Fun to hear of your Dad's collecting too, I guess you inherited your collector's bone from him! I wish MrFranks collected something so that I could have that collectors' camaraderie rather than getting in trouble for "yet another" new handbag!

aki - yep, I'll def. post pics of my yellow baby!

Jade - you put us all to shame with your fabulous collection...I was just about to post my newly decided Famous-6 collection (see my signature). I just can't justify having any more Bbbags than 6 at a time. DH gets so mad at me! I am about to have a huge sell off of Bbags that have been fence-sitters for a long time. I like my new feeling of wearing all my Bbags all the time, YAY! I could drool at your collection all day though!

Frankie - I am now on the Sunshine Coast. Still in a small town though, so no GH bags here! Charleville ay??? Sounds like you're still a Coast-girl at heart! I'm glad to hear you made it through the floods. Sheesh, what a crazy start to the year!

You gals are too kind!

My collection lacks a bit of pop I reckon. I tend to go for "safe" colors or pinks, and I think I need to venture out into brighter colors. I've actually seen a 08 turquoise in person now, and find myself liking the color, so I think I'll get a first in turquoise! The yellow is still too highlighter yellow with a tinge of green to it, and I just can't pull it off!

All of you have fabulous bags, we should really think abt an aussie bbag meet!

I do, they're floating somewhere on tpf, but I don't have pics of my latest ones except for the pics sent to me by Kim, because I've been overseas for 2 mths and she's been holding onto my bags until all the ones I'm waitlisted for are in. I'm waiting on my turquoise first before I get her to send them all to my best friend in ohio so she can forward them to me (so I don't have to pay tax/gst on the shipment).

It's late now, I'll try searching for pics tmr morning!

I've been very naughty and bought a brand new vert fonce sgh flat clutch today - it was a score because it was totally unexpected! My singaporean bbag gals are very, very cheeky enablers! We went shopping today and I came home with a clutch, and FOUR pairs of shoes.

ETA: Liz, I go to sydney pretty often - we can have a bbag meet there too!

Haven't had the chance to take pics, still waiting for my other packages to be sent from the US.

However, I will be in Brisbane this thursday night, and will be at the gold coast around surfers on Sat morning if anyone would like to meet up. I leave Brisbane on Sun evening.

xoxo

Fellow Aussie here but I don't own a Balenciaga yet! Definitely looking to buy one VERY soon though! I was wondering where all of you girls get your Balenciaga bags from... considering we don't have that many stockists in Australia! I am particularly after a PT in Truffle with GGH!

Where would be the best place to buy them from online? Aloharag? And how much does shipping normally cost to get it sent to Oz? Many thanks!
