yowza, you did an amazing job!!! congrats - she's a fine beauty now after going to the "spa" treatment. and love the contrasting tassels too. heck I'd even throw some blue ones on there just to change things up from time to time.

dstar84 - Your day looks so good, better than brand new! Congrats on saving a bbag's life. hehe. You should definitely try ivory tassles too with it. I guess I'm more of a matchy-matchy person.

dstar84 - Absolutely Fabulous! Will you please post again in about 2 weeks and let us know how the dye job holds up particularly on the handle? Meanwhile have fun carrying your yummy new arm(shoulder) candy.

that purse looks fabulous now.

you just basically bought a brand new gorgeous white purse for $285, everyone is speechless. that was clever and brave on your part.

IMO the different magenta tassles PLUS scarf PLUS the goldy/sparkle hello kitty charms is a bit much- that's just my style preference. I presume you might even wear an outfit with the bag, scarf, earrings, jewelry, necklace, glitzy shoes---

I only say this b/c your new white bag is so astonishingly gorgeous, that it does not need ANYTHING else to make it -- it stands out and makes statements by itself.

I do the same thing myself, I would buy a gorgeous purse (although not such a killer deal), and be so over the moon with it, I would deck the halls, literally, with bells/whistles/etc - and later realize the only thing the bag needed was itself, and I and the rest of myself would become accessory to IT.

I forgot all about this until now. O M G!! what an amazing job!!! It looks absolutely gorgeous. Keep us posted on how it wears. The leather looks amazing. If the dye went into the leather and isn't sitting on top, heck who knows, it might last longer than Balenciaga's. After all, we all know how some are prone to fading and yellowing. Great job, great post! Thank you for sharing.
