do we have one ? nivea or something ? just a cheapy fragrance free moisturizer ?

as far as i understood from these forums, a conclusion has been made that any "human" lotions are not recommended( i believe it's the ph balance which is not suitable for bbags)
I live in the UK, and i got Apple Conditioner from www.luggage-and-leather.com for $20 in total. Which i think is an absolutely reasonable price considering the cost of the bag you'll be applying it on.

hmmm, see i've read about several products being used, i've just used E45 lotion on my new black cherry, which someone else uses, but never read about any human type products being unsuitable.

Don't want to scare you... but i remember people saying that human lotions might eventually rot the leather. However i haven't seen any proof
Actually before getting apple conditioner,i have used Clinique moisturizer on my black first, and it seems fine.

I had a go with an unwanted pot of Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizer (from one of their free gift sets) at least 12 months ago and there is no sign of rot.

so has anyone actually reported a case of rotted leather? i have the russell and bromley handbag cream, but i don't like the polishy smell , correction, i DO like the smell, but not for a bal bag ! i also have a neutral pikolinos shoe leather cream, which seems to ok too, i'd just like to know for definate what we can/can't use.

Water, Mineral Oil, Petrolatum, Sorbitol Solution, Stearic Acid, Lanolin, Lanolin Alcohol, Cetyl Alcohol, Glyceryl Stearate/PGE-100 Stearate, Triethanolamine, Dimethicone, Propylene Glycol, Microcrystalline Wax, Tri (PPG-3 Myristyl Ether) Citrate, Disodium EDTA, Methylparaben, Ethylparaben, Propylparaben, Xanthan Gum, Butylparaben, and Methyldibromo Glutaronitrile.
