I've decided to let my cornflower twiggy go to a new home... *let's have a moment of silence*

ok, anyways, the main problem is that compared to my newly acquired 07 f/w black day, and 07 violet first.. i've become dissatisfied with the typical thin crackly 06 leather.. although i LOVE the shade of blue...*sigh*

anyhoo... would it be better to leave it as is, or should i condition it before i attempt to sell it...?

i know a lot of ppl would prefer untreated leather, but then again i wouldn't want someone to think i'm selling junk.. kwim? must find good home for ol faithful corny!!

I would say leave it as is, unless it's REALLY dry and would benefit significantly from a little conditioning. If the leather is just thin, conditioning won't make it any thicker, IMO - it can be helpful, but it's not magic.

Appleguard conditioner will not do any harm, nor will it leave your bag looking "conditioned." It might really improve your bag, if the leather is crackly because it is dry.
I wouldn't hesitate to use it on even my most precious bag. Just do a light buff after it's had plenty of time to dry.

It could not hurt to use Apple Care Conditioner on your bag. I use it on my Bbags and it never leaves any kind of smell/residue and makes them super soft

I really love Apple conditioner, and when I buff really well following an application, the leather really looks nice and the shine is still there. I don't put it on the handles. Haven't had any discoloration on my FB Bbag, and have used it on my YSL blue-grey Muse and no discoloration there, either. I don't see why more ppl don't use it, actually (but then, I just haven't had a bad result, KWIM?)

Agreed! You can do two coats (moisturize twice) as well.

Just me, but I wouldn't be bothered by it.
I just don't want a bag to smell funny, that's all.
I don't smell Apple conditioner at all.
