Default To redye or not.
Hi all,

I have a lilac balenciaga that I have purchased 2nd hand and it isnt in a very good shape.

I have sent it for professional cleaning and eventhough it technically get rids of the grim and stuff, there are still areas that are black from previous owner's usage. There are also some funny purple stains from the previous owner.Sorry for the pictures. Those files are too big and i needed to sort of resize them

So my question is, does it look really bad and lousy that I should consider redying it? My frens say that its kind of in bad shape but i really covet this lilac color and it cant be redyed to the same exact shade as I have now. I also realise that the leather will not as nice as it feels now.

What should I do?

also as i am situated in singapore, I would also like to know if there are any recommendations as to where i can go to redye bbags.
Thanks for your help and advice:)

Oh my... is (or was...) what I´m seeing a 03 lilac city with pewter hardware???. Looks just like kind of grey on my screen sorry... if the bag looks so bad as I´m afraid... I would say that they completely ruined it and there is no solution. You should have sent it to a professional like LMB, a jewell like this deserved it... good luck!

oh was dat the original colour? unfortunately no..its a very faded version of your purple. in fact, i was afraid of the yellowing. Your purple is so gorgeous!

I brought it to a professional cleaning shop and the guy actually advised me to redye it.

Do u think i shd? i was thinking of redying it black since its a pretty safe color:)

I agreed with aalinne_72 here. I dyed my very-faded Sky blue city black as well and I was thinking of dying it at this local dry cleaning store so I went there and checked out all the bags that were sent to be re-dyed (there were various brands.) and I found them all to be too glossy and the charge was pretty expensive so I did some reseach and did it myself. It wasn't that hard and I was very happy with the result! Good luck with ur decision..
