Thanks ladies! I was semi-kidding about the starch, I don't even know how to use starch. =P

But it seems that when I dried the bags in the dryer, it works better if you Damp Dry them instead of leaving them in there for the entire duration. So do a Damp Dry and then lay them flat (pictured) and they don't seem to lose the crispness as much.

Ditto, that's what I do too. Sometimes when they arrive with a preloved bag they are a little dirty or yellowed. I iron them if they need it, but usually they don't if done as rere says.

Update: totally! I received a dust bag that had a few yellow spots on them sprinkled throughout the entire bag.

One wash and bam! Clean as a whistle. I didn't think the entire yellow spot would come out, but it did.

Good news!

did you use regular detergent or woolite?

Sorry ibis, I'm late to reply. I used regular scent-free detergent. Just a little bit.

Didn't think about it at the time, but Woolite would for certain be the best option.

That's so funny! Just yesturday I was looking a certain dust bag and said "it needs a wash!" and off it went to the wash! I'd never thought about it until yesturday, and then lo and behold, there's a whole thread about it!
