Default Removing Scratches or Scuffs

Hi, I found there are some scratches on my balenciaga NM city bag, they are at the corners of the bottom. And I also feel like to clean the handles. My friend told me that I can send it to balenciga boutique to fix it for $200 and the bag will look new after it's done. I'm just wondering if these scratches are fixable? Thanks a lot!

Default Raw corners

Revently I bought a beautiful Brief but it had some really dark corners and jeans rub. I tried to clean with baby wipes and with a good result. The cornes are almost completely clean and the jean transfer is far less visible, but is has left the corners feeling like raw leather. It isn't soft anymore.
So I tought I would moisturize it with some apple care but I am worrying that it will make the raw corners dark again or will the darkness fade when it has dryed?
Also would you apply the apple care on the handles and then finish of with some rain repellant or is that a no no?

I have read up a lot on leather care recently as I bought a leather bag, am soon to buy a bbag, and my mum was also interested to care for her leather bag too. I have read you should not use baby wipes on leather with a finish, as they are too heavily alkaline (to neutralise baby pee) and they can ruin the finish on the leather (which is probably an explanation as to why your corners feel raw). I also read not to use saddle soap or anything containing silicones and waxes. I think the damage can be fixed but by a leather specialist, not at home. If I were you I would use an apple moisturiser to try and soften it and if it needs cleaning use a damp soft cloth to clean them or a leather cleaner.

Hope I have helped a little, and good luck.

Thank you for your reply. But I actually don't think the wipes are to blame. A lot of ladies use them on their b-bag with fine results. I think it more likely that the raw corners are caused by my roughness when I was cleaning the bag. Actually the rawness isn't a big problem I just wanted if the apple care will darken the corners again.

Well I have never used apple myself, but everyone I have heard uses it say it is really good and does not darken the colour. I have not heard one negative thing about it.

Are you perhaps mixing it up with facial wipes? Some ladies, including myself, use the Oil of Olay daily facials express wipes to clean bbags ( I got the idea from another PFer and they work very well and don't harm the leather, they're very gentle). They wouldn't be alkaline like baby wipes, and they have NEVER left the leather on my bag raw in any way.

Nope, I actually got the idea from REREsaurus. We have been PM'ing back and forth about baby wipes... Otherwise I wouldn't have tried it. Have heard about the facial wipes but I wasn't able to find Oil of Olay wipes here i DK.

Default Removing Scratches...HELP!

Other than using a leather conditioner (apple guard, LMB, Lubriderm)....are there any other options?

I bought an authentic Rouge Vemillion 07' GGH Hobo for my best friend for her birthday and it arrived with a couple minor scratches that I would like to buff out before giving it to her. I don't have time to order a proper leather conditioner, and before I went to get some Lubriderm at the drug store, I figured I should post on here.

(For some reason I can't find the search feature right now to do a search on "scratches". I feel like I am loosing my mind because I have used it before.)

A very small amount of Neutral shoe polish applied lightly with a cue-tip. Let dry a few minutes and gently and lightly buff. It will be just as new.
