my cat peed on my bbag!

i tried using a wet cloth to dilute it/try and get it out but it didn't work. I have no idea what to do, the leather is hard because it dried and it reeks of cat pee.
Help! does anyone have any suggestions on how i can fix this or is my bag ruined for good?

worst of all is that it was my mums bag, she gave it to me because she knew i liked it so much!
i feel horrible

I am tempted to ask you to soak in warm water but it would probably be worse for your bag. I suggest you write to Barbara of LMB to get her professional advise.

i thought about doing that pinkboudouir, nothing could be worse than the smell from the bag right now.

Until you hear back from a Pro you could wrap your baby (NOT the CAT!!) in cotton or muslin to protect it, and put it in a box with deoderizing cat litter below it and cover it with at least an inch or two of the dry litter..after all these litters are made to 'kill' cat urine odors..Sooo sorry to about hear this, your kitty has High-Class taste

I am so sorry!!! My heart just went out to you as soon as I saw that title! I would definitely do as pinkboudoir suggested and contact Barbara at LMB.

i am so sorry this happened to you! i love my cat but would be very mad if kitty decided to void on my precious leather!

agree that you should def seek professional help for this. the kitty litter idea sounds good in the interim, but only if your bag is DRY. please keep us updated!

i think some member's pet peed on her bbag too. check the care & feed thread, if you wish. i didn't follow thru what happened afterwards.

Yikes! I would definitely give Barbara at LMB a call and use the cat litter trick that quilter suggested. Hope it works out and keep us posted.

i thought my puppy peed on my bbag once (turned out my brother had spilt something on it

), but anywhoo, I sprayed it with pet order removing spray before realizing and it didn't harm it at all.it just dried away after a few seconds - like water. i also put lots of water on it.... the bag was even softer after all of this actually *shrug* also it smells like a normal bbag - the pet spray didnt linger. i didn't use alot though, maybe just 1-2 sprays...

so if you're not nervous to try that, you could (maybe not if it's a light bbag)... but b/c your bag is smelly and hard it would prob be best to contact LMB... :(
