I've had good results with the shine restore from LMB on top of the ultimate moisturizer! Try it out first in a little spot but it will enhance the color! She looks much better already!

Default How to make a new Bbag smooshy and not so shiny?

I have an 06 Greige Day which I adore, the leather has lost its shine and is thick and smooshy. I would like all my new 07-08 bags to look the same, any product that can do that? Or is it just wear and time? Thanks!

It needs a lot of wear! If the bag has a thick glaze coating it will take longer.

I use the pre-treatment leather lotion from lovingmybags. It smells good, prevents the bag from dirt and rain and it takes the shine.

To keep the shine you can use shine-restore.

It's funny to moisturize bags like yourself, I like that.

i recommend not using any sort of product. Just use it often and with wear and time it'll definitely soften up and become more gorgeous.

My cinnamon day was really glazy when I got it. I hung it from a door knob with books to stretch it a little then I carried it non stop for 2 weeks. The glaze went away pretty quick.

Does the Lubriderm have to be unscented? Will it make the bag smell otherwise?? Great job by the way! Your bag looks great!

I just posted pics of my pale magenta work after it's broken in! I didn't use any products on it, I just hung it with a few heavy book in it.
Introducing my candilicious pale magenta Work! Tons of pics!

Default Lubriderm on an 06 Camel....

I am just wondering if anyone has done this.... I have read through all of the cleaning/moisture threads, but there is so much chatting and I just wanted to know if it will darken the color or will I be okay?

i believe the consensus was to not treat your bbags with lubriderm because it rots the leather...leather is supposed to breath and when you coat it with lubriderm , the bag might smell okay for abit however over time your bag will rot and smell awful...not recommended.

purchase some Apple Guard or leather care products that are supposed to be used on leather goods.

I only use apple garde on my bbags. I wouldn't dare use lotions/moisturizers not specifically made for leather.
