Default Leather conditioners with SILICONE? Good, bad or doesn't matter?

I was looking for a conditioner for my Bals and walked into the Coach store to get their conditioner. I have used their conditioners on my Minkoff and Botkier bags, but of course I'm a little sensitive about what touches my Bals.

Then I took a look at the ingredients and found out there's silicone in it. Does Apple Guard have silicone in it?

thoughts?

I don't think AG has silicone since it says it is "wax-free." I have used AG before, but I also use Coach. I don't like to recommend anything really because I am fairly new to Bal bags, but I have used it on mine without a problem. I think the only thing the silicone may do is add some shine. I have certainly used Coach on other bags for years and have never had a problem. I know they have been selling their lotion for years, so I feel it is pretty safe. However, the Lubriderm that people use worries me some - not sure why. There is another thread on that somewhere. I guess I would just prefer something that is made to use on leather. Hope that helps.
