Can I ask whether the dye kit gives you any directions or cautions about future treatment or moisturizing of a re-dyed bag? Also, how hard was it to deal with the zippers? I'm going to try this on an old bag, but I need to feel ready.
TIA and congrats!

Thanks so much to everyone for all your compliments!!!
Rollergirl: The kit does include directions. I basically followed a combination of the directions given and the directions Dstar provided in her thread. As far as future treatment and moisturizing, the kit doesnt mention anything about it. Mine is perfect right now, but I imagine if she dries out, it'll be fine to moisturize her as needed. The zippers werent hard at all. I applied the dye to the zippers just like I did to the rest of the bag. No Problemo at all~
Handbagangel: Thanks so much for resizing the pics for me! I have no clue how to do that! You can really see the rough deteriorated leather near the middle of the front under the zipper area and how yellow it was.
Dstar!!!!: I am forever in debt to you!!!!! I was two seconds away from selling this baby off!! I'm so glad I didnt and did this instead!! Thank You SO SO SO SO SO much! As far as buying another beat up bbag, I too would in a second! Like you said, it was super easy to do, almost too easy, and I really enjoyed doing it!
Batgirl: I was thinking the exact same thing...I was hoping it would turn out like an 05 magenta, but I dont think its bright enough. I think the closest color is the Pale Magenta, like you said. I put my extra Pale Rose tassles on it for now, just to tied me over until I order the appropriate tassles. My BF suggested White, but I think I want to get something that matches.
Again, thanks everyone for all your lovely comments!
