Default Re: HELP!!! apple care darkened my handles!!!

I use Wilson's Leather Protecter Spray and it does not darken the leather. It also drys within seconds.

The bag lost a lot of its sheen and now it has little spots (freckles) in some places where the leather seemed to turn darker from the spray!!! Is this normal? Has anyone ever experienced this with lighter colors. Will it go away? How about the sheen ... is there any way to get that back? I am so depressed. I feel like I have ruined my bags.
If the leather has spots from the spray, you might have sprayed to closely to the bag. Apple Garde needs to be sprayed at a good distance from the bag, so that only a fine mist hits it. I've used Apple Garde on all of my bal bags (and that includes many light colored bags) and it has never left marks of any kind.
