Default Leather on handle are ripped...

Hi,

I've just recently bought a pre-loved black twiggy. The overall condition of the bag is wonderful, except the inner leather on the handles have ripped, I guess from rubbing against each other too often....does anyone know if LMB can fix this? Has this ever happened to any of you??

Hopefully you girls know what I'm talking about....

Thanks!!!

It appears to me that the edge seal which is like a paint of some sort has worn off which is really common on used Balenciaga bags. The leather is more flexible than the edge paint so it eventually chips off.

I believe Balenciaga can repair this as can other leather repair shops. Personally it doesn't bother me because I like a vintage look to my bags and leather doesn't fray.

You can buy the Edge Kote and paint it over. It'll cover and seal the edges easily.
