Hi all, I can't decide between a black or anthra city, so I was wondering if blacks fade beautifully into anthra or grey, or do they turn greenish?

Does black or anthra wear better in the long run?

I'm wondering the exact same thing! Hope someone can answer for us. I was told that grey fades, but not ALL blacks turn greenish, but that's not very comforting :S

The piping in my 08 black Twiggy has turned dark green in 3 months so I don't trust newer black Bbags anymore. If I were you, I'd rather go with Anthra.

my 08 black city was not jet black to begin with. (it's more green base tone black color)
It has faded and turned green with usage.
Now the handles r black color and the rest of the bag r just greenish color.
i'll probably need to dye my poor bag back to black.

Thanks Inem and icyblue for your replies. Did you use protectant (eg Appleguarde, LMB) on your bags? Am just wondering whether all Bal bags fade without protectant, including black. Has anyone treated their black bags with protectant and still experienced fading?
