Alcohol Stains on your bbags

hi ladies! i'm in desperate need of your help. i'm supposed to meet a girl selling her magenta 07 ltd ed. however, she sent me an SMS saying that a bottle of alcoholic beverage broke in her luggage and left watermarks on the bag. can this be removed by AG leather cleaner? or do i have to send her to LMB for professional cleaning?

i have not seen the bag, i have yet to meet her tomorrow. but i'm hoping you can lend me your expertise on this. i don't want to waste precious money for a bag that is forever stained.

Oh my goodness, so sorry to hear of that mishap!..there are at least three threads about hand washing your entire Bbag in a sink of Woolite..it sounds much more risky than it is.. as somebody who daily works with fibers ,fabrics and leathers I would be afraid that the alcohol will have dissolved some of the dye in the bag and might leave lighter stains..why not get a colored cheapo bag or wallet at a thrift store, pour a bit of the drink of your choice on it, ... dry it and then handwash in Woolite (this would be interesting research) so please share your findings with us..perhaps she would drop the price so that you could pay to have this done?

i'm afraid i don't have much time to do this experiment, as i will be meeting up with the seller tomorrow.

wish me luck. i do hope there's not much damage on the bag. i will surely update everyone.
