Why is this bag so cheap? Checked it against my fidji from Barney's and it matches up, except for minor stitching at the bottom part of the handle. The auction is almost over and no one is bidding. Makes me suspicious....

There are many bids and there is still time on the auction.

Perhaps someone will be bidding up at the last min.

I checked this sellers previously sold items and they do look authenticate if that helps.

the economy is bad and eBay is generally slow in the summer. plus this isn't a real summery bag. i think the seller tried the strategy of a no reserve auction with a very low starting price in the hope of drumming up bidding which is a gamble (i have experienced sellers ending the auction when they realize the price is nowhere near what they want).
