Vintage L Vuitton: Real or Fake?

I found a groovy soft LV for $10 that needs some TLC. Is it worth my while to clean it up? (See photos). I can't tell real or fake LV's. I think it's the most difficult bag to decipher! Each stud holding the handle is stamped Louis Vuitton on both sides. The shoulder pad under the strap is imprinted too. If it helps, the snap says: "Royal Hock" with a Patent no... The interior is suede. The back pocket and inside pocket are lined with a soft nylon diamond patterned brown fabric thanks

You might want to check with the experts over on the LV forum, but this looks like a fake to me. Still, you're a savvy shopper, if this were a real bag the price would have been a steal!

It's definitely fake. It's a pretty poorly made fake too. Louis Vuitton never puts those ugly patches on the fronts of their bags. Sorry.
