^ It looks off to me, I have a quilted leather bag like that too. Why would it be so cheap if its brand new with tags? I can't 100% it though..but I would personally stay away from that..

Yes, this one looks good to me. My only concern is that the description says "Nero / Oro" meaning "black and gold." It may just be a mistake, but I would ask the seller why it is listed that way. Otherwise, the Medusa icon and interior plate look good. JMO, Good Luck!

Here's a pic of it. The auction says this is a 100% authentic bag. He's a scammer?

I suspect then that this is fake as well: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/LADIES-DESIGNE...ayphotohosting

Am in the process of contacting eBay regarding many listings so any help offered here is appreciated for the common good of many ebayers.

From what I understand, the name Gianni Versace hasn't been used in years in ready to wear or bags. I say its fake too. I am not a Versace expert by any means. I know enough to be 'dangerous' lol All their stuff is "Versace" & has been that way for several years now. Cheek, that bag on eBay UK is so fake.
But I would stay away from anything saying "Gianni Versace" unless its 10+ years old.
Versace brand has huge problems with fakes. You can pick up a set of Gianni Versace china at the local Middle eastern market. Its all fake, made in Syria or Lebanon. Rosenthal for Versace is the only real Versace china.

I know of a few that have been busted for selling fakes.

This is what was told by a SA at Versace.
Donatello has made a conscious effort to try to build the brand under her own reputation since Gianni's untimely death. That is why they retired the name Gianni Versace with in a year or two of his death. He died in 1997, let say it was 2 years after. So Versace items haven't been made under his name for almost 10 years.
I have seen smaller purses/wallets in middle eastern grocery stores/ restaurants. All fake, all from Syria or Lebanon. I say that one is fake too.

^ This is not true! I was in Vegas in September and my bf bought me a "Gianni Versace Couture" handbag! It was purchased from the "Gianni Versace" store in Ceasar's Palace! They do still make Gianni Versace and it is actually one of the higest labels within the brand! There are also fewer pieces made because they tend to be more expensive and take longer to make.

Here I will post a picture of my Versace Snap Out of It bag...opps sorry forgot to post pictures...
