Versace Authentication Thread

Its really hard to tell through just pictures. Having it in your hands is always nice. i have worked in the fur and leather industry when i was younger. Im trying to think of what has fur, thats short, thats soft and could be real....something exotic.....They are way better now days at making fake fur and leather real feeling and smelling. Very much so when they make fakes. If the materail is real it should have weight and backing. Also I cann't think of anything even shaved (like rabbit) that would be soft but Versace would not use rabbit. i have to say no authenticity at this point. Still cute and it was a gift.

Thanks gaga - from what I can see, it certainly seems to be real fur, wouldnt have said it was either cowhide or pig as it's too soft, and there doesn't seem to be any 'backing' like I'd have expected . Dunno if that helps. Any suggestions?

tell me about it!! Versace makes some really cool off the wall stuff.I love it!!!! But they can be a pain to authenticate.

From what i can see this looks very good! Great price to i might add.
if you got this, get a copy of that reciept. i would also like to see the inside versace stamp.

Way more photos for this one are needed. I want to see the dust bag, the cards, the original tag and reciept of which VERSACE STORE she bought this at. I would like to see the plate close-up, the zipper and inside. Im not comfy with this one at all. These things should be photographed in the auction.

I took a look at the auction. I noticed she stated she bought it a year ago. Can you ask the seller where she pruchased this bag?

I asked a pro to take a look at the website and they think it's a fake also but can't be 100% sure as they don't have the bag. I also asked the seller where it was b ought from and have had no reply, I have also reported it to ebay and will not pay for the item until she can prove that it is genuine.

Im very sorry. Versace really screams VERSACE. The bag has several red flags for me.
There are alot of fakes. Hopefully everything will work out you can get your refund and just stop by here or feel free to pm when you find a bag and i will check it for you.
