Super Vintage Salvatore Ferragamo PLEASE HELP!!!

Ok my mother purchased this bag for $1 at an estate sale and while doing some research was told it was a vintage SF bag from the 50's or earlier. She want's to sell it on eBay but needs help identifying the specifics of the bag. We want to leave an actual authenticator as a last resort. Can someone pleeeeaaaase help us identify this??? Thanks!!

I browse the ferragamo auctions on eBay fairly recently and this shape looks like the Kelly style.

looks similar to the one in this consignment shop as well

Wow thanks! Actually that is exactly the style!! Only that one is leather and my mother's is like a rubber cement type material. We've even tried emailing the company themselves with no luck. Any other ideas? It seems to be quite the rare item.

Fabulous bag - a Classic Kelly. I'll bet the material is indeed leather, maybe cordovan (the leather, not the color) or something similar. What a find!

LOL it is definitely a find!!! It's also definitely NOT cordovan or any kind of leather. It's most certainly some sort of rubber!!! Does that help anyone?? The lady my mother bought it from said it's from the 30's. It's definitely vintage! lol yes i use "definitely" a lot!!!
