Real Versace?

(I originally posted this in the Versace authentication thread, but I don't think it's frequented too often anymore because I still haven't gotten a response.)

I don't know much about Versace bags. A friend came across this bag and we'd just like to know if it's real, and if so, about how much it might be worth to sell, considering the damage that's been done to it. The tags were with the bag, and it's probably been sitting around in an attic for a while. If anyone has any information on it, I'd really appreciate it!!
