I would actually pay GOOD money to watch a lawsuit happen between an ILLEGAL COUNTERFEIT HANDBAG website and an individual acting on the public's best interests.
Was the threat for the lawsuit written on paper with little hearts and Disney characters? Because it's about as Mickey Mouse as you can get! Sorry that I'm having so much fun with this- just imaging the "lawsuit" in "court":
JUDGE: And why are you upset today, angelsdistinct- (goodness, what a mouthful- let's abbreviate it for our poor stenographer as she already has shades of carpal tunnel syndrome)...
ADDH.com: I am upset because this horrid individual stopped people from buying my fake bags.
JUDGE: And these are illegal fakes you're selling?
ADDH.com: Well yes, judge, but she really hurt my feelings when she said that I was a scammer. I am suing for defamation of character because I honestly believe that people WANT to pay me $800 for a plastic LV. Who wants all those boring canvas ones from the LV store? I am providing a GOOD service and fighting conformity. Those silly people and their trademarks are making everybody like clones. At least I am letting people forge their own path with vinyl and dog fur!
JUDGE: I see.

I'm sure there are maaaaannny court cases on the books in all 50 states indicting sellers of counterfeit merchandise. But here's just one as an example...just in case ADDH is reading this thread.

http://www.lawyerintl.com/law-articl...erfeit%20Goods

"The maximum statutory sentences for each count in the Indictments are: five (5) years in prison and a $2 million fine for conspiracy to traffic in counterfeit goods; ten (10) years in prison and a $2 million fine for trafficking in counterfeit goods; and five (5) years in prison and a $250,000 fine for illegally concealing and selling counterfeit goods.

The Indictments allege that the defendants conspired to traffic in, and did actually traffic in, goods violating trademarks: such goods included electrical cords, batteries, handbags, wallets, suitcases, shoes, hats, sunglasses, watches, key holders, umbrellas, and different items of clothing and accessories bearing the counterfeit trademarks of Underwriters Laboratories, Duracell, Louis Vuitton, Rolex, Prada, Gucci, Coach, Disney, Nike, Major League Baseball, Oakley, and others."

ADDH should be dipping into her Swiss bank accounts and making her shivs for prison life if she dares bring a lawsuit to a courtroom...

Some excerpts from website owner's customers who had their counterfeit listings pulled recently:

(Not too many were suitable for posting)

"You are just like the government put the little drug dealers behind bars instead OF THE PEOPLE FLYING THE DRUGS INTO THE COUNTRY."

"So YOU took food out of my children's mouths"

"you have shut down my livelyhood"

"when you mess with people's children and money, you need to be prepared for ANYTHING that comes your way!"

So has she actually started the legal proceedings to sue you, or did she just threaten to do so?

Hi All, I'm new to this website but want to learn all I can about spotting fakes as I don't want to be duped into buying one. Unfortunately, I cannot afford to buy all the Gucci's I want to but really love them. I currently own one which I purchased thru a well-respectied My Poupette authorized dealer here in Hawaii so I know it's a real Gucci. But since yesterday, I had been exchanging emails with Angels Discount bags because I wanted too purchase a Gucci Peggy in guccissima leather. I was just about to send the $ but thought I should do some research on them. I'm glad I did. After all the reading, I still don't know if they REALLY sell fakes but my instincts tell me that if there's a question mark there, leave it alone. Mahalo to all of you who take the time to research & post your findings so your fellow designer handbag lovers can make their own conclusions. I'd really love a Peggy & at only $477!!..who'd pass that up? But I want a real Gucci, I wanna KNOW it's a real Gucci & even if they were selling it for $4 or $4000, any amount is too much to spend on a fake. I work too hard for my $ to waste it that way. So, as this is my first post, I'd like to say Mahalo to all of you!
