Furla launched their first real croc bags in 2007 as part of their Limited Edition Giovanna Furlanetto line, they only sell them in selected stores world wide. I have seen the large 'Greta' model in Dubai, UAE. They had the colours black - which is amazing, blue china - which is one of the colours for this season and in Bordeaux. Their real croco bags are some of the most beautiful i've seen. They are well known for their embossed croc print on calf leather, which is probably what your sister has as the real ones really are something else!!

Hello ladies! I found this bag today for a steal and I really think it is authentic, but I thought I would have an expert look at it.

I would also love to know the name of the bag if anyone knows.

The zipper pull actually snaps down into a clasp. Ive never seen anything like that before, but I think it is a great idea!

Thanks in advance!

Sorry I don't think so, the fonts are kinda off... Wait for someone a bit more experienced than me to assure you as well.

Hi Ladies,

Sorry if this has been posted before, but I couldn't seem to find the answer anywhere. My co-worker had just bought a Furla bag on BlueFly, but she then noticed that on the inside, it says Made in China. Have you guys seen any Furla bags that were made in China? She is worried that it may be a fake, and I am no Furla expert to say. TIA!

I have 2 Furla's and they both say Made In Italy. Mine are older bags though. Lots of designers are sending their bags to china to be made.

Can you snap some photos and post them here for someone to look at?

Furla company manufactures their shoes and handbags in Italy since 1927. They have a distribute center in Shanghai & Hong Kong China.
If you have doubts you can contact them and ask for further info info@furla.com

I believe this is not true any longer. Their expensive bags are still made in Italy, but others are not and are made in outsourcing locations. Not all say "Made in Italy" anymore. You can see this online at Bloomies, for example, which shows some models that just say "Imported." That is never the case for an Italy-made bag.

They are imported from Italy to USA. If you have doubts you can contact the company. Shoes and bags are manufactured in Italy , the rest like accessories, jewelry, small leather goods, they can be from anywhere. Any Furla leather bag I ever owned says made in Italy.
