Seems to be authentic, but the quality? I'm not sure - but I see all over felt noduls (don't know if this is the right word). My cashmere scarves look different with a clear texture. Also check for the feedback.

What you see MAY be piling, some of the cashmeres were prone to it, but I don't think that would take away from the scarf when worn, and Mindi, you may be able to find a way to safely "shave" it in the reference thread. Doesn't detract from a fab scarf! Good luck!!

This is authentic. There might be one hiding in a boutique drawer somewhere. But now that you've brought it to our attention, I'd move fast if I were you!
