Default Authenticate This Hermes Bag *Please read the rules and use the format in Post #1
This thread is for discussion on authenticity of Hermes bags.

Please follow the following rules:

  • Before you submit a request for authentication, please search this thread to make sure that the item has not previously been authenticated. This is not a thread to ask general questions about Hermes, please refer to our reference section for such information. Finally, do not submit requests for something that is obviously a fake, e.g. the item says it is a replica, or a $200 Birkin.
  • This is a free service, but it is imperative that you help our authenticators by using the following format:
****************
Item:
Listing number:
Seller:
Link:
Comments:
*****************

  • Authenticators are not required to answer every request, and it is their right to ignore a request that is not in the proper format.
  • Authenticators may also request additional pictures and/or information in order to assist with authentication. Please remember, it is always useful to have several close up pictures when submitting an item for authentication.

NOTE: In the absence of an auction listing (private sale situations), posters to this thread are encouraged to provide the following extra pictures, which need to be large and really sharp. It is recommended to use the macro function of the camera:

    - Front view of bag
    - Zipper & its end
    - Hardware
    - Craftsman stamp on strap
    - Hermes stamp + Top stitching
    - Clear picture of the interior lining
    - Base of the handles
    - Side view of the strap guides
  • Please do not intervene to confront a troll or rudeness on the boards, just use the REPORT function ( button) to alert the mods, and let them handle it from there. In the meantime, just ignore the poster until a mod can intervene.
  • Always be respectful when you post and treat others as you expect to be treated. This is an open thread and everyone is welcome to participate.
  • Do NOT PM an authenticator or moderator to request authentication. Any and all such requests must be posted in this thread.

asked on the archived thread:
These pics look very familiar to me

However I dont remember them belonging to this seller.

Seller:knockrahabooks
Ebay number:150356231942
http://cgi.ebay.com/100-AUTHENTIC-HE...3A2%7C294%3A50
yes - these are from a mightykismet auction, as is the seller's other birkin. i can only assume their non-hermes designer auctions, also low start and no reserve, are fraudulent as well.

i am SO tired of doing feebay's job for them AND paying them absurdly high fees.

aika_1_r, welcome to the subforum! If you look at the very first post, just a few above yours, you will see the correct format for posting. Thanks.

Default Please authenticate my Hermes Massai PM
Good Morning,

My first time here and already have made a mistake. I am sorry. Found this yesterday at a distress sale and need help in authenticating. Thank you so much in advance. The bag is a beautiful brown and the leather is so very soft. Came with 2 straps to attache to the bag for different lengths.

I saw this combo at the San Francisco boutique in 2005. I was tempted because of the little bag. Great little clutch, and cute on the strap as well. I am not sure if they are still making it, but it really doesn't matter if you like it.

Chiming in on the yeoh....its a great bag, you get 3 great leathers, plus crinoline, and the style and design are chic and clever as can be. Good luck, I hope we see a reveal on this!
