Greentea, I think the croc is fake, too. Croc should have dots in the larger scales, which are actually hair follicles and not present in alligator. The reputable seller I was referring to was for the second bag, hence the #2).

Oh, I know you meant the gold bag. :)
You're right, the scales look too sloppy and chunky to be Hermes croc - especially the delicate and more even-scaled porosus. |

I agree about the croc...it's probably not Hermes.
The gold courcheval is ok...I had a Kelly in gold courcheval from 1997 which I sold. |

Bad fake. That looks like manufactured Togo leather and the inside has a couple of problems.

Thanks Duna and HermesAddiction!
Do you think it looks to be in good enough condition? Or should I just hold out for my birkin to come in from NM? AHHH! I am pulling my hair out! Here is a Blue Jean Birkin for anyone interested http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MakeTrack=true The Seller just emailed me a ton of pics- I am happy to email them to you if you want. But the auction ends in less than 2 hours so PM me if you want a look. |

Hi!
I'm trying to learn more about the PICOTIN... I saw this auction on ebay, what do you think? Also, what would be a good way to see some pics of PM versus GM, etc... Should I start a new thread? Thanks! Here's the auction: http://cgi.ebay.com/HERMES-BLACK-TEX...QQcmdZViewItem |

Wow, that bj ended up selling for 1500? A brand new one? I'm really skeptical. Why on earth a sane person wants to sell her brand new birkin for that price? |
