Arrow Sites, books, magazines that inspiration us
I thought it would be fun for us to share places we get inspiration for crafts from.

A friend shared this link with me today and I already see myself coming back to look up projects or surf around for inspiration. http://www.designspongeonline.com/

-- It focuses on design, but even has recipies; and the photography is fantastic!
-- It has ways to give old things a new life
-- It has a great do it yourself section with step by step instructions

example... look at these neat glass bottle frames!! Clever!

From a sewer's perspective:

I love 'Altered Couture', 'Belle Armoire', 'Piecework' & 'Gothic Beauty' for sewing (clothing) ideas. I also flip through a lot of the beading magazines for ideas on fabric embellishment.

I also pick up a lot of wedding magazines (Grace Ormond Wedding Style, The Knot & Martha Stewart Weddings) since they really show fantastic pattern/fashion shapes & also grab WWD Accessories & WWD runway editions for color & shape trends. Sometimes Vogue & Bazaar have nice runway special issues as well.

These three sites feature the same artist's work.

This is her blog http://jewelrytrends.blogspot.com/

She also has two sites to check for ideas.

I just found this site and I am in love....

Dori Csengeri is amazing. She combines cotton cords, beads and gems to create perfection. I favor bold pieces and she delivers. It is the ultimate mixture of color, texture and couture.

Fairy tale jewels is a company started by a mom. It was run from her home until recently. She started on ebay and now is available in upscale children's
stores.

Great inspiration for children's jewelry.

Here are a few pictures of items no longer available. But super cute.
