Pic 1 - looking through a window down a hallway type thing in a cave dwelling by the Anasazi in southwest Colorado

Pic 2 - a hole of calcite crystals... doesn't it just feel like you could put your hand down there and pull out diamonds? this was taken at Colorado Lien Mine

i agree, great stuff! i enjoy how this forum has been able to bring people from all walks of life together to share more than just bags, but other interests too!!

on my spare time, i play around with photobooth on my mac. LOL!

Here are some of my favorites from the past few years:

Robin's nest outside my front door -- babies hatching and then one baby fledging about two weeks later. (These were taken from a distance -- I wasn't bothering the birds.)

A few more...

This deer was right outside my bedroom window and I snuck outside to get a few photos -- this is probably my favorite photo I have ever taken:



This hawk is a frequent visitor to my backyard birdbath -- I think he was checking out me checking out him!



Another birdbath in my yard -- grackle and a Northern Flicker. Flicker looked like he was telling the grackle to get lost! Love the "expression" on the grackle.

Wildflower, sorry if I did not catch the type of camera you are using either way .... what kind of camera are you using! And how do you manage to get such great shots? Both Candid and Classic in one image!!!

Those were taken with a Konica Minolta DiMAGE Z1. I've loved that camera!

However, I just purchased my first digital SLR camera and am waiting for it to arrive. I got the Nikon D40 and a couple of lenses.
