Default Looking for metallic art pieces
I want to embellish a piece of furniture with metallic pieces that can be glued on. Any ideas where I can purchase such embellishments? Thanks in advance for all responses!!

what type of embellishments are you looking for? the idea that popped into my head was that you could find the type of embellishment you want (maybe out of wood?) and then find some metallic paint and paint them. might be the easiest.

Hmmm.... I never thought of that! I'll go to the craft shop this weekend and browse around. Thank you ILuvShopping!

I was looking for a metallic angel.

are you wanting like flat angel shapes? not knowing your exact idea/plan... i would think finding a wood angel cutout would be fairly easy to find... it seems like something common...

or maybe check out a christian store or some place that would sell bible school crafts. if you have any hobby lobby stores around i know at the beginning of the season they had a whole section of vacation bible school crafts out.

Hi Envyme :)

Piggybacking off of ILuvshopping's idea: Maybe try getting some angel cutouts/stencils and spray painting them in metallic and cut them out. I don't know what material you desire but you could use all sorts of diff. papers (foam paper, cardboard, etc)

Here are some angel stencils I found on Ebay:

or maybe try some stamps

Here are some angels stamps on Joann.com.

I'm not 100% sure if they are sticky or not...maybe apply them to metallic paper and cut out?

Wow! You ladies are really crafty!! I'm so lazy, I just want to affix it to the piece of furniture I'm decorating. I don't think I'm as talented in arts and craft like many of you are, even though I've never tested myself... It seems like SO much work.

I'll go the craft store and see what I come up with. If I make a masterpiece, I will post it. If you don't see me posting in this section again, you will know the reason why LOL.

Thank you ILuvshopping!
