Well to start with leather you can do it real cheap…. All you need to start with is. Saddlers needles, 1 diamond shaped awl, waxed linen thread and a stitch line marker or grower. And a book to teach you how to do it.

If you really want to start on the right foot I would recommend you get the ultimate kit from here http://www.tandyleatherfactory.com/h...vlocation=left

Good luck with it just and ask when you get startet if you have any problems.

Well it depends on what you want to do. If you don’t want to do stamping and tooling then I think it’s a waist to get it. But overall it’s a good basic tool set all you need to add is thread and needles.

If you don’t want to do the stamping and tooling then I would recommend you order the tools separately. That way you won’t get tools you won’t need. Also the quality of the tools is not that good in the sets. If you start to get serious with your leather work then you will get better tools.

Thank you Ilovepinkhearts, i also realy like that one.

Well it has been some time now sins I posted. It has been so hectic lately with me moving shop and workshop also getting blessed with a little angel baby girl.

Here I am continuing with the Fractos Design in the shape of a belt. This one is the version for men, I was really not sure if it would work or a man would buy it. I have sold a few.

Materials used. Veg. taned belt leather that I dyed black. Real thin goats lining leather that I dyed red. And the inside was lined with soft calf skin dyed at the tannery.
