i love home decorating as well britney! Have you checked out ratemyspace.hgtv.com? I love browsing through the pics. I like the fact that it's the actual homeowner that did the decorating. My bedroom is a MESS! I need to get organized but I just don't know how to get there. My favorite pics that I like to look at are the bedrooms.

I really envy people that are good at decorating. My idea of decorating is buying everything for a room from a catalog picture. Obviously, not the most economical option.

I wish I had a house to decorate.... my favorite on tv is Candace Olson with Divine Design (hate the theme music) but OMG her rooms are TDF... so so so my style if I could decorate my own house! AHH

Which one is Debbie Travis? Is she on HGTV? I love Candance too but all her stuff seems to be custom made or extremely expensive. I wish I could attain that look.

Debbie Travis had a show called The Painted House and was on Oprah and had series on PBS, and HGTV for a short time.
She is filmed in Canada. She is wonderful...

Ahh Candice Olsen is my fav. too, with Vern Yip coming in a close second. I made a homemade headboard for my bed that I'll post pics of later on tonight if anyone is interested.

Hi, Glad to join...I have a ton of pics on my blog now....Tell me what you think. My issue is color of the walls. A rug over carpet? I think based on what I have heard that I might do a silver color, but there is a green that is on my blog that I just love and it would look nice with the rest of the soon to be brownish paint for the rest of the house..I am a earth tone person.

jeh3v, I remember that from the thread with the pics of TPFer's bedrooms. Your headboard and linens are so chic! gucci lover, you should check out that thread, it's a fun thread.

flygirl, I've been in several apartments where I've been stuck with wall to wall carpeting. I pretty much always put down an oriental area rug somewhere to define an area and add some color/pattern. My room feels naked to me otherwise.
