Thank you!!! LOL!! It took me ages..I spent quite a long time looking at it and wondering what to do,so then I'd smash a bit more off,saw through something else...in the end I got quite brave and just went for it,and it brought an odd kind of confidence. Then I looked at things thought 'I'll do this, this and then that' and it started to get easier! First major bit of joinery I have ever done...and I thought 'it was a damn wreck anyway..whatever I do I can't make it any worse!'

Thank you so much!! It wasn't so much hard work..it was just a bit difficult as I'd never done anything like this before so I could'nt just get on with it,I had to keep stopping to figure out what to do...it was such a pain in the ass before,so I'm really pleased with how it turned out!!

Thank you!! LOL!! I kept putting the baskets in,so I would remind myself that it would look alright when it was done...so just keep at it!!!
The bathroom when we moved into the house was a bit grim, all shades of browns you can think of............not good! So I painted the floor, skirting etc,and then with an almost French Cafe style,it just seemed to suit what was there, and to do too much more would have cost a fortune that we don't want to spend yet (kitchen comes first........not looking forward to that at all) so it was a case of make do and mend!

and I thought I am Dhs soulmate - you sound like him "pimping" his LR with cameras.

This is just gorgeous. I used to want to become an interior decorator, but then DH hired me, when he found his company and I got "stuck".
It's okay, I'm happy, plus I found a different "hobby"
