i'd get a double sided comforter.

i have one that is a funky light pink and white leopard print on one side but the other side is a solid color.

also, i have another set i bought at TJMAXX for a great price. it came out to be like $119.99. it came with four decor pillows, two pillow shams, two pillow cases, a comforter, the fitted sheet and the bed sheet. i've found similar items for waaay more ($299.99+) at department stores.

a great fabric for animal hair is satin. i have satin sheets and a satin comforter because the cat hair would stick ot my sheet soooo bad. I got mine from victoria secret online and sometimes they put them on sale.

another great place to look for clearance items (other than tj maxx/marshall's) is bed bath and beyond. i went to ours last night and it seemed like they were having a major clearance event with lots of odds and ends of comforters and sheets and pillow shams.

My bed got a tiny makeover. Something plain but looks a little more grown up.

I also wanted to share my completely clean and organized closet :)

[My bed]

[Top half of my closet, still trying to figure out how to organize my bags nicely. I have all my dooney & bourke's in a dresser drawer]

the vanity/desk looks great!! not so big and it matched the furniture much better :) what about a duvet cover and new shams instead of a new comforter, they are easy to use and washable. and just another thought is to try to clear out some of the clutter. it will make your room look bigger.

i have such a hard time knowing what to do with all my crap, we threw out so many boxes of stuff that we haven't seen in years and i still feel like i have clutter every where *sigh*
