Thank you for doing that, passerby!!!

You're absolutely amazing!

I tried to email them, too, but my PC crashed half way through, grrr!!!

Off to look for other stations that cover that area!

****UPDATE**** The only TV news station I found that covers that area is the nbc25 one. Here is the email address I sent my email to. pbickford@nbc25.com
Maybe if a bunch of us send them an email they'll put it on TV.

I'll go and do that, now (hopefully my PC will manage to restrain itself from crashing, this time!).

Hopefully, someone will answer. No responses so far. :(

Thanks for all your help, chloehandbags.

Now enough of the mutual backslapping Please do visit Wiccaweys' website later - Paul and Sarah (and their dogs, especially Grandad Brynn) are amazing.

Thanks for that email address, edsbgrl. I've emailed them as well - the more people who email them, the greater the likelihood of this being on TV (hopefully).

Folks, please call PETA's media center:
757-622-7382, extension 8284

They have huge pull with publicity on a large scale!

I tried to email him/her, but my message was undelivered.

Has anyone else had the same problem?

Chloehandbags, hopefully my email went through - didn't receive notice of failure.

Will ask the same group of ladies from the old American Idol forum to email nbc - we did something similar last season asking for shows to feature Bo Bice Can't remember if that worked but there's no harm trying.

I'm really sorry, but I'm going to have to call it a day.

I've been on the PC for over 14 hours, now and I can't think, or see, straight any more!

Over to you, guys!

Please keep up all the good work!!!

Here's that vital link to the website, to view the all animals, again:

http://search.petfinder.com/shelterS...ort=&preview=1

Please save one, or more, if you can! You won't regret it - I'm glad I rescued Kadie (my Staffy cross), every day!

Good idea!

I know you've had enough of the mutual backslapping, passerby, but thanks again, you've been brilliant!

I'll log on early tomorrow morning, to see how it's all going.

Stick with the humane society if you can...national or local.

I'm not sure where exactly it was, but one PETA chapter on the East Coast (I *think* it was Pennsylvania) "rescued" some animals from local people telling them that they were going to be adopted ... never happened. They killed the animals and dumped them in a dumpster. It was a HUGE deal last year.

So...Stick with the Humane Society and private charities if at all possible. I've posted this story everywhere I could think of. Has anyone heard an update from this group? How many dogs have they gotten out???

I have forwarded this to the lady who is in charge of my rescue group to see if there is anything she can do or if she has contacts in that area who might be able to help. I hope these guys find homes! They are SO cute! This whole thing just makes me sick.

UPDATE: Have called my rescue to let them know to check e-mail immediately. She is going to check it out and see if there is anything we can do. Also posted one of the dogs, info, and links on my blog, and e-mailed info to friends to pass along. Fingers crossed now...
