I hadn't heard of them, passerby, thanks for letting me know.

I'll have a look at their website!

Question Re: Pets in desperate need of homes by 6/24 - can you...??

Just thought I should ask - who's contacted who?

Has anyone contacted PETA? Or any other US animal charity?

Has anyone managed to contact the media?

Which other forums have been posted on?

I see the other thread's disappeared, so, do you think we should put out an appeal to people to contact the media, on here?

Kitskats, any idea what advice/help the National Humane Education Society has given?

They have offices near Charleston, West Virginia.

How about a fax - no need to call via the phone?

Surely this rescue centre will take in a few of the Paw Paw dogs and cats? Or have they done so already?

Have you asked them, passerby?

I've just been posting on the cat and dog forums of www.gotpetsonline.com.

Not sure what good it will do, though.

I just searched for news stations in the area and found this one - www.nbc25.com. I sent them an email with the link and ask them to include this in their broadcast so some of the animals can be saved. I sure hope they do.

Off to look for other stations that cover that area!

****UPDATE**** The only TV news station I found that covers that area is the nbc25 one. Here is the email address I sent my email to. pbickford@nbc25.com
Maybe if a bunch of us send them an email they'll put it on TV.
