Also, as mentioned in Dogster, if you have a blog, or post on any forum (music, sports), please post about this as time is of the essence. Forward emails to your friends, ask them to forward to their friends, and so forth.

WOW! how terrible! Maybe there are also some PF members from WV or with friends or families there who might have a way to also help? Perhaps you could just do a "Attention WV PF members" thread or something? I will think on it!

Your best bet would likely be to contact the national offices of the ASPCA, Humane Society, etc., as they will already have the media contacts you'll need to get the word out.

passerby - I've posted on the West Virginian forum. I just hope it didn't segway me into a UK section, as it seems to have different forums for different parts of the world.

It said I was on the global forum, but in the flip down, when I clicked 'Back' it said London, UK; so I'm not sure.

Of course she wouldn't mind! She loves animals, I don't think she'd mind if you posted it in LV AND in Chloe.

to see if the WV shelter has been highlighted.

I just called the ASPCA here- and the woman I adopted my cat from. She works/volunteers for a no- kill shelter here.
Other charities may help, Peta? Some of the charities that went down to New Orleans last summer?
