Anyone want to adopt 2 "bad influence but very sweet" foster girls??
Mary Jane is black and white and Baby Ruth (I didn't name them) is the tabby with white.

Oh they are adorable! Is it hard to let your foster kitties go to new homes, Cindi? I am rubbish at it - nearly everyone who is fostered by me ends up staying!

It is almost always a bit difficult but I don't usually foster the special needs kids. Those are the ones I could never part with. I mostly foster kittens - 1 year. You have to have a mindset that you are only there to get them ready for their new homes. There is no way they can stay. With 13 of my own it is not that hard.

Today I came home to my adorable foster angels cuddled up in bed with Ruthie giving MJ a bath. 2 minutes later MJ was on the bookcase where she is not allowed to be and Ruthie was on my desk. They look sweet and innocent, right? Did I mention they are available for adoption??

I love them both! I have such a soft spot for kitties with pink noses! I just adopted a new cat in June and my older cat hates her. I'm sure if I brought these two angels home, my older cat would never speak to me again.

They are both VERY sweet lap cats which kinda makes up for the trouble. Hopefully your older girl will make friends with the baby. A new kitten can sometimes make an older cat more playful. Of course the little one might just teach the old girl some new bad habits. Like jumping up on my bookcase! Yes Bellis I am talking about you!!

These pics of Bellis and Maggie on the tree are the best pics on this whole forum I love the look on Bellis' and Maggies face, they both look so proud! Bellis marching and being so proud and happy is such a fantastic pic - I just love her Maggie is pretty awesome too - what is her story Cindi?

About 20 minutes later I hear a tentative meow and look over at Bellis. She is reaching her paw down trying to see what is below her and how far it is. I gave her some time to see if she wanted to jump but in the end mom had to put her down one level. I told her she was good to jump from there and so she did. I'm sure I will find her up there again and when I do I will again let her choose. I know one day she will be going up and down with ease. She will overcome this obstacle just as she has all the others. I love my girl to bits. The pic where she is at the edge of the bed is where she was marching and mrowing at me. You can see how thrilled Maggie is with Bellis' accomplishment. LOL

Maggie's Story - It was St Patrick's Day and hubby and I were on our way out to return a movie at Hollywood Video (yes, it was that long ago) when I see a scrawny cat walking down the middle of the street. Hubby calls to her and she comes running. She comes up on the porch and wants everyone to pet her. I figured she was someone's cat that must be allowed outside. We left to return the movie and when we came back she came running back to our front door. It was cold that night so I took her in and set her up in the bathroom. The next day I asked around the neighborhood. No one missing a cat. I put up flyers and called vets, police, AC. No one looking for a cat. After a week I took her to the vet, had her checked out, (worms), got her shots and took her home. Since it was St. Patrick's day we decided to name her something Irish. Maggie was home.

More Bellis amazement today.Over the weekend I had taken the air conditioner out of my window and put a cat perch there. Both foster kittens and Maggie have been up there on occasion. This morning for the first time I found Bellis up there looking very pleased with herself. I have no idea how she found it. Now she is sitting up there having a bath and softly meowing every now and then to say "look at me mom, I found a new high up place" LOL I tell her she is such a brave, smart girl and she smiles at me and goes back to her bath.
